I DID IT!!!!!,

With your help I managed to complete this emormous task in 2 hrs 13 minutes.  Which considering the awful conditions, rain and freezing wind was not bad even if i do say so myself!

Just a huge thankyou to all of you because without your sponsorship there is absolutely no way I would have got out of bed!!!!

Would I do it again? Well immediately after the race the response  was NO WAY, but now having  rested my weary bones I'd say watch this space!! A special thankyou too to my faithful support in the shape of all the Magoos, the Shaws, Anna, Simon,and Julia Bowes, along with my faithful ex neighbours the Patersons and of course my darling husband Nige and Wibbley our dog.

You really made me work that bit harder so THANKYOU

BATH HALF MARATHON 16TH MARCH 2008

It's the beginning of January and I've made a New Year's resolution, which i'm planning to keep!........

I'm running my first EVER half marathon and for those of you who know me, running is definately not my thing!  However i am doing it with a very good friend of mine, Linda, and together we hope to raise funds for our chosen charity Momentum.

Momentum aims to provide support to children with cancer and other life threatening conditions.  They're currently redesigning and refurbishing the teenagers room in the paediatric dept. of Kingston Hospital, and trying to rise funds for a holiday home to provide respite care for sick children and their families.

After reading Joshua's story you will understand why we've chosen to support the work of this very valuable charity.
