Story

Hey everyone!

Thanks for visiting our page - as you may know, we are performing The Magnox Mountain Challenge in Bristol on 23rd August 2008. This will be taking place in The Promenade, Broadmead Shopping Centre, Bristol and as a team we aim to climb a distance of 4000m in the day - that's approximately the height of Mt Fuji or the Eiger! It would be great to see anyone who could come down and support us on the day, and we would be grateful for any donations you could give - all money raised will be donated to the RNLI!

We chose to support the RNLI as our charity because its aims have a strong link with Magnox - most of our sites are located on or near the coast and many members of staff are either members, ex-member or know someone who is a member of the RNLI.

Also, if you're a UK taxpayer please select to give gift aid as it will increase your donation by approximately 28% at no additional cost to you.

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
