Story
On 16th October 2008 I set out on the adventure of a lifetime through the Los Glaciers National Park in Southern Argentina to raise funds for Mencap. I applied to join the trip after hearing about it on a BBC Radio Wales programme. It was being organised as a one-off event to celebrate the unique relationship between Wales and Patagonia - a country which has many Welsh-speaking inhabitants following a wave of emigration more than 140 years ago.
I completed the trek and arrived back in the UK on 26th October. It was extremely challenging, but I had a wonderful time and met some lovely people, which I will remain friends with.
Many thanks for your amazing support.
