Thank you for visiting fundraising page. I will be travelling with my friend Martina toTanzanian on the 30th June – 13th July to volunteer for the Charity ‘Children in Crossfire’ (CIC). CIC exists to make a significant and lasting contribution towards the eradication of poverty. CIC work in 12 of the poorest countries in the world, helping the world’s poorest children who are denied their basic human rights on a daily basis.
CIC work in partnership with local organisations. This means that development comes from the local communities.
The projects which we will be raising money for & involved with in Tanzania are:
• Building a new school in Moshi– CIC believe that education is the key to long term stability within the country.
• Visiting Karanga College and working with the students
• Visiting the Sisters of the Precious Blood of Jesus Orphanage and assisting with chores.
• Visiting and raising money for the Children with cancer campaign
• Working with teachers and children in Uchira Primary & Kindergarden
