The Love Hope Strength Foundations (LHS) are committed to giving hope to people living with cancer. Through ‘Get On The List’ we help identify marrow donors to match with those in need of a second chance at life. We also support life-saving and life-changing projects across the globe.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Love Hope Strength Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
When you click donate it will ask you to create an account but don't worry, you doesn't take long and you never have to use it again if you don't want to.
So please sponsor me now!

On 30th May in the centre of Alex Square (that's the middle of Lancaster uni campus for those who don't know) I will be shaving my head.
Feel free to come along and cheer me on, or heckle if you wish.

If you can't make it don't worry.
I will be wandering around between now and then with my paper sponsor forms, or you can sponsor me here!
This website is especially good for people who don't live anywhere near me, you don't even have to move!

For all the people who live around Frodsham there will be a separate event in the evening of May 30th at The Wheatsheaf pub where I work.
Some of the kitchen staff have said they might wax their legs and there's karaoke too!

If you know me personally you most likely know the reasoning behind my decision to shave my head for charity.
For those who don't know me that well I'd just like to say: Everybody is affected by cancer in some way, I want to make a difference.
Be it you mother's cousin's uncle's dog that had cancer or even a very close family member everybody will have encountered the disease at some point.
My family has had more than its fair share of encounters with cancer and this is my way to show my support for them.

Many thanks for your support,
Mair.
