The Williams Syndrome Foundation was formed in 1980 and is run by parents for parents of children with this rare condition which causes heart and kidney problems and learning difficulties. It desperately needs funds to finance its ambitious research and family support programmes which include national conventions and regional meetings.

<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Last year 89 Ladies and&nbsp;I use the word loosely,cycled or walked aroung the isle of cumbrae to raise money for Williams Syndrome.</p> <p>Due to populas demand this is going ahead again this year 24 March 2012.</p> <p>Williams Syndrome is a charity very close to my heart as Robyn my daughter soon to be 20 has the condition.</p> <p>We&nbsp;have been very fortunate&nbsp;in those 20 years to have&nbsp; had terrific, unconditional support from family and friends who&nbsp;are a huge part of Robyn's life and all the fundraising we take part in.</p> <p>I know these are very difficult&nbsp;financial times and appreciate anything anyone can give to this cause.</p> <p>Thank you so much Mairi McMinn&nbsp;</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
