However, when I saw that the date of the marathon was 26th April, I knew it was something I had to attempt. The 26th April has for the last 9 years been the most terrible day of the year for us as it is the anniversary of Maisy's death. This year it will be the 9th anniversary, and so with a sense of great privilege I am running it for Maisy and for cot death. I know I will think of her the whole way round, and I am sure that is going to help me, and I know raising money for the Foundation for Sudden Infant Death in the hope that one day cot death will be a thing of the past will help me too.
