My story

First of all, thanks for taking a look at my page! It is, of course, greatly appreciated.

Most of you will remember the hell that I put myself through this time last year whilst training to do the London Marathon. And I'm sure you will also remember me constantly reiterating that "never in my life will I do anything so ridiculous EVER again!"

Well, guess what...

On the 24th June this year, I will be attempting the National Three Peaks Challenge along with some of my work colleagues. If you don't know what the Three Peaks Challenge is, it is climbing the UK's three largest peaks (Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales)... all in 24 hours. Of course.

Why do I agree to these incredibly crazy ideas?! (I often ask myself the same question...)

Well, since losing my Mum to MSA in October 2009, I have wanted to do whatever I can to raise money for the Multiple System Atrophy Trust, whilst at the same time raising awareness of this awful disease.

So many incredible people helped me raise over £4,200 for this amazing charity when I ran the marathon, and if I could raise even a fraction of this for doing the Three Peaks Challenge, then I would be one happy girl.

So please, help a brother out, give what you can and prove to me that there is a method behind my madness!

Thanks!

Sadie
