Malcolm died suddenly on the 2nd of January 2013, aged 62. He was a loving father, son, brother, and husband. This page has been set up by his family, friends and colleagues to celebrate his personal qualities and professional achievements.
From 1974 to 1988, Malcolm worked as an NHS Clinical Psychologist with people who have learning disabilities. He was Head of the Psychology Department in the Learning Disabilities Service at the Ida Darwin Hospital in Cambridge from 1978 to 1988. Malcolm made a profound difference to the lives of many people and their families through his clinical and research work. Malcolm was pivotal in helping to develop community services for children with learning disabilities.
You may have known Malcolm in one of his many differing roles. He was a great friend to many, an inspirational teacher, a compassionate clinical psychologist, and a firm believer in equality, fairness and justice. He worked tirelessly to change things for the better.
