I am taking part in the Marie Curie Diamond Big Zip At The River Tyne on Sunday 21st September 2008.  I hope to raise £1000 in memory of my Mam and everyone who has sadly lost their life to cancer.

My Mam lost her life within 6 months of being diagnosed with bladder cancer at the age of 55, having taken early retirement with plans to be young enough to tour the world with my Dad and live life to the full, unexpectedly all this was cut short. 55 is young yet there are those struck down with cancer so much younger-where is the cure?-where is the government funding? Marie Curie offer an amazing service to those with terminal cancer giving choices during those last months and weeks, show your support to everyone affected and sponsor me in raising as much money as possible
