Marianna, Nick, Dave and Abhi all decided independently and at different times to run the Manchester 10k 2013. Some of us are experienced runners and others are first-timers who previously refused to run for the bus. When we got talking we thought it would be great to raise funds for a good cause. 

The Message are a Manchester-based charity working with the youth of Manchester and beyond. You can read a bit about The Message on the right - and go check out their website! We've all had some level of interaction and involvement with their work over the years, and the decision was unanimous.
