<p>Welcome to the general fundraising page for TackleAfrica's Manchester Football Marathon 2012. We hope to raise £50,000 and we thank you enormously for your support.</p>

<p>In the last 10 years, Football Marathon players have raised over half a million pounds to support TackleAfrica's work saving lives in Africa through football. The Football Marathon might just be the best charity fundraising event around - last year in London 63 teams played 788 games of football in a 12 hour period and raised £140k. </p>
<p>This will be the first Football Marathon in Manchester and we hope it will be just as successful.</p>
