<p>Welcome to the general fundraising page for TackleAfrica's Manchester Football Marathon 2012.&nbsp;&nbsp; We hope to raise &pound;50,000 and we thank you enormously for your support.</p> <p>You can make your initial donations here - just remember to reference your team name in the comments.</p> <p>In the last 10 years, Football Marathon players&nbsp;have raised over half a million pounds to support TackleAfrica's work saving lives in Africa through football.&nbsp;&nbsp; The Football Marathon might just be the best charity fundraising event around - last year in London 63 teams played 788 games of football in a 12 hour period and raised &pound;140k.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>This will be the first Football Marathon in Manchester and we hope it will be just as successful.</p> <p>Donating through justgiving is totally secure and is the easiest way for TackleAfrica to receive your payments, especially as Justgiving claim Gift Aid on our behalf, making your gift worth 25% more at no cost to you or us (if you are a UK taxpayer).&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for your support - visit <a href="http://www.tackleafrica.org/">www.tackleafrica.org</a> for more information.</p> <p>One game saves lives</p>
