<p><strong><span style="font-family: Tahoma; color: #000080; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Cancer Research was chosen as one of two charities because it was dear to her and was Mandy's last personal campaign (Cancer Research - Race for Life). She wished to support cancer research and cancer support charities, the 2nd one being the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust or ACLT (</span><a href="http://www.aclt.org/"><span style="font-size: x-small;">www.aclt.org</span></a><span style="font-size: x-small;">) instead of receiving flowers for her funeral which took place on 27th January. </span></span></strong></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Tahoma; color: #000080; font-size: x-small;">"As you know I found out in July 2009 that I have Lymphoma Cancer.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Tahoma; color: #000080; font-size: x-small;">Big thanks to those of you that have already donated to Cancer Research via this page. And a big thank you to the annoymous, selfless donor that donated two bags of stem cells to me. The stem cells are settling into my body now so just another two weeks or so in Guys Hospital.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Tahoma; color: #000080; font-size: x-small;">So cannot actually do the Race for Life tomorrow but I would still like to collect money for Cancer Research. Anything from £1 upwards. Every penny helps. Please dig deep and thank you in advance for your donation.</span></p>
