Story

the email read: Castaway 5 day Survival Challenge?????

Andy sent me a mail inviting me to take part in a castaway survival challenge in some secluded forest where we would be part of a group of people building our own shelters, catching our own food and me living without Blackberry, lipgloss and hair straighteners for 5 days!!!! I thought it seemed like a good idea at the time and put my name forward thinking it would be an easy few days to go camping and going through food dependent challenges with my little brother!!!!

Ha . . . now I have the realisation that this will all be happening in about 3 months and I have to raise personal sponsorship of £750 to be able to get anywhere near the forest!

The money raised is being donated to a very good cause, The Anthony Nolan Trust has been running a bone marrow register for nearly 30 years helping people match their stem cells with suitable donors to give them a chance of beating leukaemia, something my best friend Suzanne Lewis never got to benefit from, she died at the age of 7.

I want to help make a difference to the lives of children and young people with Leukaemia and can only do this with your help.

Please will you sponsor me,  it is easy online, every little bit helps . . .

Thank you

Mandy x
