WLCHC runs London’s largest night shelter from November to April and offers year-round support for street homeless people in west London. The emergency night shelter accommodates 35 individuals a night during the coldest months of the year. Many more individuals share a hot meal and use the year-round laundry, clothing, and washing facilities. A caseworker is on hand to offer advice, advocacy and practical support to shelter guests. I have volunteered at WLCHC so I know first hand that the donations go to a great cause.

 

If you are hesitant to help, just think how cold it was this morning when you walked to your car and imagine having to put up with the cold every day and night without a shelter. Even if you have £1 spare, please donate it, it costs you more to buy your morning coffee!
