Story
In the last few years, both Aimee's mum and my dad have recovered from cancer. Rather worryingly, several people in our circle of friends were also diagnosed with this or another life-threatning illness, which has made us think how lucky our respective parents were and of those for whom the possibility of a cure comes too late.
After our local Ramblers group got chatting about the upcoming Walk the Wight fundraiser, I persuaded Aimee that 12 km - a
cool 8 miles - really wasn't that
much and she spontaneously decided to join me.
It was not only the prospect of raising money for charity but also the spectacular
views of the Isle of Wight that won her over immediately!
Any amount you can give will help, no matter how small.
