Mapus Charity Challenge 2011
Thank you to everyone who supported us in our 100K Charity Challenge 2011.
The weekend was a great success!
On Saturday 30 April 19 cyclists covered in excess of 950km. On Sunday 6 runners completed the Kings Lynn GEAR for another 60km and on Monday 2 May 24 employees and 11 family friends walked, in total, over 685km. This gives a grand total of over 1,695km travelled over the three days.
The weather stayed dry for us and even though the wind was a little stronger than we would have liked everyone rose to challenge and pushed themselves to the limits to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We had set £5,000 as our fundraising target and at the moment it looks like we should actually raise in excess of £6,000 which is fantastic. Once we know the total amount raised we will update the website.
This would not have been possible without the kind and generous support of so many of our clients and for this we are all extremely grateful.
Finally, well done to everyone who took part over the weekend. Well done Team Mapus!!
