Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

MS Trust bring together expertise from every angle to help people feel more in control of their MS, today and every day. Through trusted information, compassionate support, the training of new MS healthcare professionals, and research rooted in real experience, we’re here for every MS. Every day.

Story

We are highly excited at the prospect of running in the Virgin London Marathon 2010 for the MS Trust.

With the help of our Dad, Bernard, and the support of fantastically generous sponsors we have already raised £3,412 through the 2009 Great North Run - Red Arrows Running Display Team - see www.justgiving.com/redarrows.  We kitted up in some extreme wind resistance fancy dress and had good fun.

Matt’s wife Vicky organised a ‘Come Dine with Me’ style event which non-cook Matt won with an impressive rendition of venison goulash minus the venison.  This event raised £550 - thanks to all who took part.

Marathon training is now taking place in earnest - we're going to run together - well at least for the first two miles until Matt drops his i-pod!

The MS Trust

We are raising money for the MS Trust because our Auntie Celia suffers from Multiple Sclerosis.  This is an absolutely devastating and unpredictable disease which affects every aspect of life.  The vision of the MS Trust is to enable people with MS to live their lives to the full.   We would be really grateful if you would add to our total by sponsoring us in our efforts.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: MS Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
