My story

It's Over!

London Marathon 2010

3 weeks have passed since that fateful day & it now seems like a dim & distant memory.

The good news is I did it...& in a record time! - well for me anyway: in fact a very modest 5 hours, 46 minutes & 50 seconds! And that was running all the way too! Admittedly, there were people walking past me at the end, but I only walked when taking on water.

A great experience but not one I'm despoerately inclined to repeat, although I do now have a Mini Triathlon to do in early June, so I'm not retiring just yet.

A big thanks to all of you who so generously sponsored me - as you can see, with some off-line donations, I actually got past the £2000 barrier which I is fantastic. The Marathon as a whole raised over £20 Million for charity, with the average figure for a "Just Giving" page like this one being £1100 - so we were almost double that!

And don't forget to enter your donation in your Tax Return too!

Many Thanks for Your Support

Malcolm
