Unfortunately I have injured my knee and am unable to run in the 2009 London marathon. This is personally very upsetting but having seen the medical experts I now plan to get myself back to full fitness and have transferred my place to the 2010 London Marathon instead. All the funds raised so far will still go to Children In Crisis and I will still be running for them next year.

This April i will be facing the daunting challenge of running the London marathon. Training is under way and I am proud to run on behalf of Children in Crisis. The charity provides health and education to children in countries all over over the world where they need it most. Children in Crisis provides support particulalry close to my heart after I volunteered in Malawi last year and saw first hand the benefits that health and education can provide to communities, and particularly children.
