I am running 26.2 miles on Sunday 27th May (my birthday). I am doing this to raise money for Crossroads Care East Midlands and am told I am the first to run a marathon for them.

Crossroads Care East Midlands look after carers and they have been supporting my dad with caring for my mum. They have helped by offering a couple of hours vital respite every week by supplying a trained carer at these times. To be able to do this and more they rely on donations.

They are a local charity and any of us may need their support in the future so please give generously.
