As you know in December I reach the grand old age of 40. Fortunately, even in these testing global economic times there is nothing I really need. However, should you feel the desire to mark this event, I would be very appreciative if you'd like to make a donation to JAMI, a charity that I know very well and am pleased to be associated with.  

Serious mental illness can happen to anyone at any time and at present 1 in 4 families in the UK are affectected. JAMI (Jewish Association for the Mentally ill) deals with the impact it has on the lives of those who suffer from it, including their families and all who care for them. JAMI provides essential day care, social work, advice, information and social activities for people affected by mental illness.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
