We're supporting Theo, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour (Pilocytic Astrocytoma or JPA) at about 2 years old. Due to the tumour being too dangerous to remove, Theo endured 18 months of chemotherapy with endless trips to the hospital for blood transfusions, check ups and overnight stays.

The Brain Tumour Charity has recently started a research process to raise money for Paediatric Low Grade Brain Tumour research with this being the first of its kind in the UK/Europe.

It will present a real opportunity to bring about changes to children living with a brain tumour. The centre will bring together multi-disciplinary team of experts in the field to focus on one area. It has the potential to unlock the development of better diagnosis and treatments to children with low grade brain tumours.
