Mongol Rally 2006 · 3 March 2006

Ripple Effect is creating a wave of change in rural Africa. Our farmers learn, grow and sell more, releasing the potential in their land and lives. Then they pass the knowledge on, creating a wave of change across rural Africa.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

The Mongol Rally is a slightly mad journey from London to Ulaan Baatar, the capital of Mongolia. It has to be done in a car with a one litre engine or smaller, and the route goes across several mountain ranges and the occasional desert. Please visit the official Mongol Rally website here. Our team website can be viewed here.

Send a Cow is a charity which helps to provide sustainable food in Africa, especially in the African Horn, an area currently suffering from severe droughts. If you would prefer to donate to our main charity, Mercy Corps, which will benefit Mongolians directly, please visit our other Justgiving site here.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Send a Cow will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
