Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Most of you visiting this page are aware of the loss of a daughter, sister, and to me a close family friend to a dural AVM/aneurysm. Hannah lived a perfectly normal healthy life but was taken from us suddenly aged just 28, providing my motivation to run the London Marathon both in her memory and for an organisation which supported Hannah’s family – The Brain and Spine Foundation. The B&SF provide information and medical support for adults and children affected by neurological conditions. The Brain and Spine Foundation is a relatively new charity and does not have the recognition and support of some of the other major charity organisations, so please give generously. Evidently I have my personal reasons for raising money for this cause, however, it is worth noting the other brain and spine related illnesses the organisation supports, which perhaps have impacted our own friends and family, they include:- stroke, brain tumour, dyslexia, epilepsy, meningitis, brain haemorrhage, multiple sclerosis, migraine, schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Brain and Spine Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Thanks for your support
Mark
