Ladies and Gentlemen
I would like to invite you to sponsor our attempt to drive overland from London to Mongolia in a clapped out 1 litre VW Polo. Our route will take us through Europe and Scandinavia, up the west coast of Norway and into Mother Russia by way of the Arctic Circle. We will then head for the Ural Mountains and then south to the Altai region of Russia. From there we will enter Mongolia and attempt to reach Ulan Baatar before our engine falls out.
This is an extremely low budget trip, there is no support crew and we will be entirely self sufficient.
Team Marco'sPolo consists of Fran, who will (hopefully) be graduating this summer from Sheffield University and Sam, a photographer based in London.
We are raising money for Send a Cow, an inspiring organisation which provides needy african farmers with livestock. Our target is only £275 so please be generous.
