Our personal message:

I need your help. I would be very grateful if you could donate a few pounds or pence in order to help me complete this event.

If it helps you to make up your mind, I can assure you that I will be putting myself through rather a lot of pain and discomfort during this event and I have a suspicion that the money you donate would be better put towards a new knee or pair of legs for me instead of it going to Mercy Corps. However I dont think that is part of the deal.....

So please take some pleasure in my discomfort and give generously........
