Story
It’s true. The angelic
voices of the Margaret Pop Choir (AKA The Margarettes) will be reaching heady heights as they embark
on no less than 10 HOURS of karaoke classics, in aid of Refugee Action this
November.
Why experience the hell of a 26 mile run, when you can encourage the 12-strong team of cat-calls that will be emanating from a Soho Karaoke booth near you. So we will be relocating our offices to Lucky Voice for the day on Monday 2 November, so please sponsor us!
We promise to take photos. And maybe dress up. And we might have a Michael Jackson hour. And we will definitely raise lots of money for charity – and what’s even better for you, is that if you give us a little financial contribution, you can also leave a song request for one or all of us, or pay extra to have it filmed!
And here's some extra incentives to get you digging deep!
Donate £25 to get a song request!
Donate £50 to get a song requested and sung by the whole group. We also promise to film it and put it on youtube!
All your donations will be going to Refugee Action, one of our favourite charities. They work with refugees to build new lives, through providing advice and information, developing communities, enhancing opportunity, and campaigning for refugee rights. They want a society in which refugees are welcome, respected and safe, and in which they can achieve their full potential.
