As you may  know , and as is obvious from the photo ( taken during a brief high spot  at last year's Edinburgh Marathon )  I am a mad runner , who frankly should know better !

I love a challenge and am refusing to admit that I am getting older depite all the  obvious signs .

I am running in the London Marathon to raise money for the MacMillan Cancer Centre in the local hospital and I would really, really  appreciate your support .
