This summer I am going to Kenya for a month to volunteer on behalf of the Kenya Acorn Project. KAP educate communities on sexual health and aim to debunk HIV/AIDS myths. Their key focus is sustainability and they train local volunteers to carry on the messages once foreign volunteers, like myself, leave. I will be abseiling down Avon gorge in Bristol to raise money for KAP and all money raised goes directly to the project- none of it goes towards administration fees.
