Story

Thank you so much for login onto my fundraising page.

This September 2009 I will be taking part in the Great Wall of China Trek to raise money for a charity called Scope.
My challenge is to trek up and down thousands of steps up to 8 hours a day. As most of you know I’m not the biggest fan of walking. So I couldn’t pass up this great challenge and also raise some much needed money for a great charity like scope

Scopes aim is to help people cope with Cerebral Palsy which is a disability that starts from birth all the way in too adulthood. Cerebral Palsy is usually caused by brain damage that occurs before birth or during child birth, or during the first 3 to 5 years of a child’s life. There is no cure for Cerebral Palsy, but treatment, therapy, special equipment, and in some cases, surgery can help. Cerebral Palsy affects muscle control and coordination so even simple movements like standing still are difficult.
The money I will raise will go towards helping Scope provide much needed support to those with the disability and those who care for them.
So please don’t be shy and dig deep into your pockets and make a donation.

It’s so easy, quick and secure through Just Giving. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me. Scope gets your money faster and if you’re a UK tax payer Just Giving makes sure 25% in gift aid plus 3% supplement is added.

Thank you for your support.
