The Lifeboat Fund is an official charity of the Civil Service and also receives donations from Royal Mail and BT staff. The Fund supports the work of the RNLI by raising money to buy new lifeboats, equipment and training for crew. There are 12 Lifeboat Fund lifeboats in the RNLI fleet.

Thanks for visiting the Marine Scotland Milers fundraising page. 

We are reforming for 2012, raising money for the Lifeboat Fund. We would really appreciate your sponsorship  4 events are scheduled so far:

 

- a team of four (Lauren Reid, Anna Donald, Pippa Goldschmidt, and Mike Neilson) are running the Edinburgh marathon relay on 27 May.

 

- a 5-a-side football match between PARF/Compliance (Danny Pendrey, Paul Haddon, Jeff Gibbons, Mark McCormack, Willie Cowan, Mark Nicoll, Liam Mason, Adam Cox) and MPP/MAU (Sam Anson, David Pratt, Phil Alcock, David Mallon, John Soje, Anna Donald) on 1 June.

 

- 5k run at the Edinburgh Botanics on 27 June (Lauren Reid, Anna Donald, Fiona Watt, Danny Pendrey, Paul Haddon and Ange Robinson).

 

- Paul Haddon (PARF) is running the Great North 10k on 22 July
