We are 12 Marines from X Company 45 Commando just returned from an operational tour of Afghanistan.

We wanted to do something to raise awareness and funds for "Help for Heroes" - a charity set up to help wounded service men and women, and their families.

We aim to run the Edinburgh Marathon in boots and combats carrying a model on a stretcher for the full 26.2 miles!
