The Isle of Wight Challenge 2014 · 23 August 2014 to 24 August 2014 ·

We aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes. We are champions for, and supporters of, vulnerable dogs and cats, determined to create lasting changes for animals in our society.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 23. August I will be doing the Isle of Wight Challenge - running around the whole of the Isle of Wight, 106 km, in 16 hours or less. This will be the furthest I have ever run, my current longest run is 51 miles/82 km.

The Isle of Wight Challenge requires it's participants to fundraise, allowing me to combine  two passions: running and abandoned animals. I live with two rescued cats, and my heart breaks every time I hear about an abandoned animal that is suffering. I wish I could personally give them all the home they deserve, but since that is not possible I am fundraising for the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home instead. Please help me help them :-)
