We have smashed through the target. I will have the money cashed and cheque sent through to the charity. Once written I can update the target on my page. Thank you everyone. Legs are burst. But I did it. Actually we all did it together.
2012 will be bigger and better, if not a little more of a challenge.

After a few years of running one off events for charity I have now chosen to carry out a number of challenges including the Virgin London Marathon in April and Chester Marathon in October. Even though I will train and run hard to achieve quicker times a marathon is now nothing new to me so the bar is being raised!! and I am looking for your support!!!
In February 2012 I will complete a 24hr treadmill session to raise further money for the wonderful charity, Children with Cancer UK (Previously Children With Cancer). The money raised will provide this charity with funds to continue the amazing work they do researching and supporting families who are affected by cancer.
To run for 24hrs on a treadmill is a huge challenge. I will be aiming to break 100 miles and will need the support of family and friends throughout this time to support me during the event.
