Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 30th July 2009 the night before Leighs birthday our son Reiss Daniel Morgan died in a tragic swimming pool accident. He had just turned 15 two weeks previous and he was our only child At this stage we do not know or understand how and why he passed away and we may never find the answers to this question. One thing is for sure, is that we miss him very very much and I lives have changed so much since that terrible event on that evening.
Obviously Leigh and I are devasted and the affect of his untimely death has been a massive shock to all our family and friends. We never ever thought we would ever be childless parents.
Death affects us all at some point in our lives but to lose a child is every parents worse posible nightmare and its not how its meant to happen. Children should not die before their parents.
We have received bereavment counselling support from Macmillan Dove which is a service provide by St Lukes Hospice. This service through time and patience is provided by professional people who have also experienced loss of a loved one.
This service has helped us to come back from the depths of despair and being able to talk to somebody confidentially about how our loss which has helped us to get through each day.
The funds donated will go to St Lukes Hospice Basildon which is where Leigh and I received our counselling in Basildon.
Thank you for reading this page and for supporting St Lukes Hospice and Macmillan Dove.
