Story

Hello everyone

On 26th April 2009 I completed the London Marathon in 4 Hours 24 minutes.  I achieved my target of under 4.5 hours, but the sub 4 hours will have to wait another year.  I came 16,623rd out of almost 36,000 runners.

It was a brilliant, brilliant day.  A great and friendly atmosphere.  However, it was a difficult run.  I foolishly decided to run with a chest cold, and that definitely slowed me down from the start - and the 23rd mile was torturous.  It was also very sunny - and now have sunburnt face and shoulders!!  In addition, I ended up with 6 blisters and some serious chaffing, but I won't go into too much detail about that.

I just want to say A BIG THANK YOU to those who sponsored me.  You've helped me raise far more than I expected.

I am still raising funds for ECPAT UK, so please sponsor me now, if you haven't done so already!

Thank you very much

Mark
