Our son Jake was born on the 26th January 2010 with no complications but around the age of 8 months we started to realise there was something wrong. jake was not reaching his milestones after a load of tests over which seemed to go on for a eternity our worst fears was confirmed that he had cerebral palsy (spastic diplegia).
Jake is a happy smiley 4yr old little boy but unlike his peers he is unable to walk unaided , Jake had an operation in America on the 24th October 13 called SDR the operation removed all spasticity in his legs . Jake has since made huge improvements he is able to walk better in his walking frame his movements are much easier for him and he has no more pain from the tightness he had in his legs . Dr Park predicts that he will walk unaided within 2 years .
We are now fundraising for Jake's aftercare for the next 2 years as this is vital for him to reach his full potential and to help him get his dream to walk unaided
Please help jake's dreams come true and keep him smiling thank you
