Story

my daughter Gemma was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when she was just six years old and shortly after she and my youngest daughter Vikki were involved in a fatal road traffic collision which claimed the life of there granddad Alan.During and after these life changing events occurred Gemma and Vikki were introduced to the Macmillan team and they met a nurse called Andréa , who provided support, energy and inspiration to both Gemma and Vikki at this very difficult time and made my girls feel more like themselves again. Gemma and Vikki are 25 and 21 years old now and Gemma is free of this dreadful disease and both are living life to the full

its now time for me, gem and Vikki's dad to give something back to the Macmillan team and I intend to do this by swimming the great Manchester swim on the 2nd July 2016 I hope to raise as much money as possible for these remarkable people ,so please dig and help the McMillan team

thank you so much for your support
