Both Mark and I (Vanessa) have been driving and competing in 4X4s for years and this is the first time we have attempted this challenge. To be able to help Macmillan Caner Support is the reason why we are both doing this.  

For me this event will mean a lot as only this week a very strong member of the community where my parents live and where I was brought up died of Cancer. Val was the most amazing women with a wonderful family. I want to do this event to help individuals like her and her family, as she left behind a 2 year old son, 2 young daughters and a very wonderful husband.  

Even though this event is meant to be fun, I will always remember who I am doing this for, and it is for all those families out there, like Val's.
