Hello all,
Nige, Tom and I are doing the 3 peaks challenge next weekend with the hope of raising some funds for the charity At Home In The Community. The charity is a fantastic cause providing support and enabling adults with learning disabilities.
Our aim is to ascend, descend and travel between the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in under 24 hours. We will start late afternoon Saturday 30th May 2009 at Ben Nevis do the climb then drive down through the night to Scafell Pike in the Lake District climb that during the early hours of Sunday morning before setting off for North Wales to climb Snowdon and complete the challenge within the 24 hours. Thats 11,078 up, 11,078 down and 500 miles by car in 24 hours!!
