Neuroendocrine tumour Patient Foundation · 12 June 2009

Neuroendocrine Cancer UK exists to support and inform patients and families from diagnosis, enabling access to the best care and treatment, whilst stimulating Neuroendocrine Cancer research, increasing national awareness, and influencing improvements in outcomes.

Story

On 28th June Juliet and I will be taking part in a 9 mile walk through Windsor Great Park in aid of the NET Patient Foundation.

Angie Jones Ex-Vodafone is hoping to raise £15,000 by organising a sponsored walk for around 150 family and friends to support the NET Patient Foundation. Angie's aim is to raise a sufficient sum of money to help the Foundation to publish a handbook about the disease which will help patients when first diagnosed understand about these complex tumours and various treatment options available.

This is the charity associated with patients who have or continue to suffer with condition know as NET, which Angie herself is a suffer.

Neuroendocrine tumour' (NET) is the umbrella term for a group of relatively rare cancers, often called the 'quiet cancers'

Please sponsor Juliet and myself in aid of this very good cause and help Angie reach her target.
