Our personal message:

Mark Ciamaricone, A great husband, father, friend and colleague. A true leader and inspiration to all who knew him.

During 2007 it never ceased to amaze me the number of people that spoke about Mark and the positive impact he had made. With Pam Ciamaricone's full support I would like to keep his memory strong and I have decided to run the 2008 London Marathon, again thanks to REFUGE who have offered me a golden bond place

This year I will run the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon with my son Josh who is 18 on February 25th and will be one of the youngest if not the youngest runner. It takes place on April 13th 2008 and will be televised on BBC1 so look out for Josh and I running in our pink Refuge vests with pictures of Mark on the front. We have also decided to run the Reading Half Marathon on 2nd March 2008. This is to push ourselves that little bit more and make any donations you kindly give that little bit more hard earned.

Our chosen charity is of course REFUGE and we greatly appreciate your help to raise money for this very worthwhile cause. A charity that does not benefit from high profile and really needs our support:

More About Refuge

*In the UK 2 women are killed each week by a current or former partner

*in 90% of domestic violence incidents in families, children are in the same or next room, and in 50% of these cases, children are directly abused

*Domestic violence kills more 19-44 year old women than anything else.

*Refuge is self funding and it costs £10,000 a day to run the services needed to help women and children escape domestic violence.

If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you
