I'm sure somebody once said you should always try and turn a negative into a positive.......

Having now grown the appropriate beard and let the hair grow a little, I will set off on the 13th July on The Arctic Challenge.  As part of a 12 person crew, I will be sailing the Alba Endeavour, a steel hulled, Bermudan Cutter rigged ocean racing yacht, 1600 land miles from Wick, heading across the Arctic circle....making landfall in Norway's Lofoten Islands. The journey should take 12 days....weather dependant of course!
