Thanks also to all of you who helped us raise £1,240 for Help For Heroes during 2010.

This year, we will be donating our time from workshops and training plus any other opportunties we get to raise some cash to The Teenage Cancer Trust and we are determined to reach at least £2000

2010 saw Teenage Cancer Trust celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first unit opening and also marked the 10th anniversary of the concerts for Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall.

Teenage Cancer Trust aims to ensure that every young person with cancer and their family receive the best possible care and professional support throughout their cancer journey. They also seek to empower young people through education and advocacy.

At the centre of everything they do is the belief that teenagers shouldn’t stop being teenagers because they have cancer. Usually placed on a children’s ward or with elderly patients, young people often feel isolated when facing a cancer diagnosis. They build specialist units in NHS hospitals where young people with cancer are treated with others their own age, in an environment suited to their needs.

markettiers4dc were absolutely delighted to help raise the profile of the charity and their landmark celebrations and are very much looking forward to working on further pro-bono campaign work throughout 2011.

In addition we will also be fundraising through a number of staff sponsored events and our regular client workshops details of which can be found at http://www.markettiers4dc.com/workshops/

We run workshops on all aspects of the Broadcast Communications mix to give you the opportunity to find out exactly how to benefit from radio, TV and the web as well as gain a detailed understanding of how these three media are developing.

Workshops are available on Broadcast Opportunities in Social Media, Broadcast PR & Evaluation and Effective Use of Research.

Each session aims to give attendees valuable advice and tips on how to make the most of your campaigns.

We have set up this JustGiving page to allow clients attending our regular workshops to donate a minimum fee of £50 per place (discounts will apply for multiple bookings from one company).

Workshops are very informal and, according to the feedback we've had, as well as being highly informative, are great fun. We hope that you will look upon the small donation as recognition of the value and benefit gained by them.

For more information on our workshops contact russ@markettiers4dc.com  / ceriann@markettiers4dc.com or your account handler.
