My story

Many thanks for visiting my fund raising page.

In May 2008 my wife Heather was diagonsed with breast cancer and has undergone 9 months of intensive treatment. Although treatment outcomes are improving all of the time, breast cancer continues to be the most common form of cancer amongst women in the UK and is increasing year on year.

I wish to make a contribution to the valauble work of Breakthrough Breast Cancer in their fight against this cruel disease. Using plenty of Dunkirk spirt (together with the odd Mars Bar !) on 17th June 2009 I will be embarking on a 4 day cycle ride from London to Paris covering some 400 miles to rasie funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
