After 13.1 gruelling miles I am delighted to say that all three of us made it around. We all came in at very different times, Sharon and Chris’ time very respectable, mine a little less so – it wasn’t fast, it wasn’t pretty but I did it!
Thank you for the words of support, cheering on the day and most of all sponsorship, I am delighted to say that with the tax we can claim back we have now reached over £1500 for Fighting Blindness, thank you for your generosity.
Thanks again
Mark, Sharon and Chris

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Last year my niece, Leah, was diagnosed with Retinitus Pigmentosa, which affects her eyesight, particularly in dim light. There is currently no known cure but very exciting research is being undertaken that may give hope to my niece and many tens of thousands who face this debilitating disease. The BRPS work to encourage this research and help and advise those affected by it.
Last year Leah's father, Chris ran his first half marathon in aid of BRPS, this year Sharon and I will join him in the Great West run. We would be delighted if you thought that you could sponsor us in this endeavour and I can ensure you that for me, at least, running 13 miles WILL be an endeavour!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: RP Fighting Blindness gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
