24 years ago I ran the Humber Bridge marathon - I was 2 stone lighter, fit and healthy. That nearly killed me! I staggered over the line in Grimsby in over 4 and a quarter hours!

For some insane reason (midlife crisis, I suspect) I'm going to do it again. I've sorted out my own flights, hotel etc so this really greta charity can benefit - please support Whizz-Kidz generously. I've picked that target level as it is what's required to buy 1 wheelchair, to change 1 child's quality of life.

I suspect I might need to borrow it for the first week in November, as carrying the extra weight is like doing the previous run, but carrying my son on my back!!
