Story

I THINK I must be slightly mad - but I have taken on a challenge for 2011, running 12 half marathons in less than 10 months.

Starting on February 20 in Sleaford (somewhere in the depths of Lincolnshire) and ending in Cardiff in mid October, it will be a tough year - but hopefully I will manage to complete all 12.

Sleaford was completed in 2.11.14. For a full report, visit here

Silverstone was completed in 2.11.20. Report, visit here

Liverpool was completed in 2.04.17. Report, visit here

Edinburgh was completed in 2.04.29. Report, visit here

Timetable...

Sleaford, February 20

Silverstone, March 6

Liverpool, March 27

Edinburgh, April 10

Sheffield, May 8

Malvern, May 29

Humber, June 26

Newark, August 10

Lake Vyrnwy, September 11

English, September 18

Cardiff, October 16

Plus one more race still to be confirmed

Please consider helping raise as much money as possible. The County Times is adopting Macmillan for 2011 (its 100th anniversary) in a bid to raise as much money as possible for a charity which has really helped family and friends of mine in the last 12 months.
