In 2000, Jane Tomlinson was given three months to live. She went on to complete the Florida Iron Man contest, three London Marathons, cycled from Rome to Leeds, then San Francisco to New York, and raised nearly £2 million for Jane's Appeal. She died on 3rd September 2007. Jane never lost her sense of the absurd, so I think she would have enjoyed the idea of certain members of her literary agency grappling with the 10k challenge. I hope she would also have applauded our haphazard attempts to raise enough money to help others enjoy what she could not - the luxury of time. We very much hope you can take similar delight in the prospect, and help us reach - and possibly exceed - our target. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Jane's Appeal will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
